My friend, a foreigner living in Seoul, loved everything about Korea—the food, the culture, the energy. But there was one hurdle she couldn't overcome: online shopping. Navigating Korean-only websites, deciphering complex product options, and wrestling with payment gateways had turned what should have been a simple task into a source of constant frustration.

Seeing her struggle, I realized this wasn't just her problem. It was a shared experience for countless foreigners who felt disconnected from the convenient digital lifestyle that locals enjoyed. The language barrier wasn't just about words; it was a wall that prevented them from feeling truly at home.

That realization was the spark that ignited Langsaver. I envisioned an app that did more than just translate. I wanted to build a bridge—a tool that would empower users to shop with the same ease and confidence as a native Korean speaker. An app that could translate text on a screen, understand the nuances of product images, and even track prices to ensure they always got the best deal.

The journey wasn't easy, but the mission was clear. After countless hours of development and fueled by the dream of a more inclusive Korea, we launched Langsaver in August 2025.
